Finn Harps U19’s registered just their second win of the season as they climbed off the foot of the table in the U19 League Elite Division with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Waterford United in Ballybofey on Saturday afternoon.

On a sunny afternoon in Finn Park, Finn Harps and Shelbourne played out an entertaining and hard fought nil all draw. The young Harps side, that are now four games unbeaten, were up against a physical and organised Shelbourne team, and both teams will look back on missed opportunities to take all three points.

A WONDERFULLY worked goal on the stroke of half-time wasn’t enough for Finn Harps to post victory over Bray Wanderers in their first outing of the Airtricity Dr Tony O’Neil U-19 Championship Elite Division.

The Finn Harps u19 Squad won the Danny Rouse Memorial Trophy at the Melvin centre in Strabane on Tuesday Night.  The young Harps collected their third piece of silverware this year following a dramatic penalty shoot-out in Tuesdays final.

Finn Harps got the result they needed to win the Dr Tony O’Neil U-19 Championship Northern Section against Longford Town at Finn Park on Sunday by beating Longford Town by two goals to nil.

Harps' dreams of capturing the Dr Tony O’Neill U-19 Championship Northern Section were put on hold as they were held scoreless draw against Fanad United at Triaghalough on Monday night.

The Harps Under 19's went top of the table with a hard fought 1-0 win over local rivals Derry City.

Finn Harps moved to the top of the Airtricity U-19 League thanks to a 3-0 win over Fanad United at the Finn Valley Centre yesterday but only after the visitors had missed two penalties.
