BUY A TICKET, TAKE A PICTURE AND SUPPORT THE FINN HARPS "REVIVE AND THRIVE” CAMPAIGN!

January 2010

The new board of Finn Harps have already put tickets on sale for their first home match of the season in a bid to generate much needed income.

Whilst the fixtures will be not be announced for another three weeks the club is hoping that a unique Competition will capture the imagination of the public and encourage people to buy tickets at a reduced rate.

Adult terrace tickets have gone on sale at outlets around the County for just €10 and this reduced price will also allow free entry to one child u12.

Ticket holders are then invited to enter a Photo Competition with excellent prizes for the winning entrants.

Those entering are invited to take a picture of themselves holding their purchased ticket in a unique place, an original way, with a famous Person, or anything that will catch the eye of the judging Panel.

The ticket owners of the top 10 Photos will each receive a new Azzurri Harps replica jersey, new kit suppliers to the Finn Park club.

The winner will not only win a Family Weekend in the Luxurious Galway Bay Hotel but can also nominate a local underage or schools team who will receive a complete new kit (jersey, shorts, socks for squad of 16 players) especially made to their requirements.

The owner of the winning picture will then be invited onto the Finn Park pitch at half time for photograph presentation along with their nominated side.

Finn Harps Commercial Officer Aidan Campbell felt it was important that the Club added a fun element to what is a vital Fundraiser. “The new Board have inherited a very difficult situation, but we all agreed that it was important to give people something interactive and enjoyable. €10 for an Adult and Child is superb value so we hope supporters will see the new board are making an effort to engage with them and are being proactive about tacking the club's financial situation”.

“We urgently need the support of the public to get the club back on its feet but we want to give something entertaining and good value in return.”

Entrants are asked to post their picture on the Official Finn Harps Facebook Page and/or send it to johnbreslin@highlandradio.com .   The competition will be run in association with the John Breslin Breakfast Show and best pictures will appear on www.highlandradio.com , in the Donegal News and Donegal Democrat and all details can be found on the official Finn Harps Official Facebook Page.

The current Finn Harps Official Website is currently under reconstruction and will be re-launched before the Season Begins. As part of the Finn Harps “Revive and Thrive” campaign, the Club will also shortly be announcing an Online Shop and a Shop Local promotion.
