HARPS MANAGER URGES PUBLIC TO JOIN THE FINN HARPS ‘REVIVE AND THRIVE' CAMPAIGN

January 2010

Finn Harps Manager James Gallagher has appealed to the North West Public to support the Club by buying a ticket for the first designated ‘Revive and Thrive' game which will more than likely take place on Saturday March 13 th at Finn Park.

While the opposition won't be announced until the FAI release their annual fixture list Finn Harps have already put tickets on sale at a reduced price as the first step of the campaign to generate much needed income.  An Adult terrace Ticket will cost only €10 and price will also include free admission for a Child u-12.

Gallagher is hoping sports fans respond positively to the initiative and fans will come out and back his talented young squad starting with the first revive and thrive fixture this Season.

“Our young players are excited about the prospect of playing in front of a large crowd.  Younger players tend to respond very positively to encouragement from the terraces and I would appeal to anybody interested in football in the North-West to please get a ticket and come along and give this team the backing they deserve.  It would nice to see People recognise that the Squad is composed of local players who emerged from clubs from right across the County and also the lads from Tyrone.”

The Gweedore man is confident the club are on the right path and is looking forward to the new season. “The lads have come back to pre-peason looking fit and we will be doing a lot of hard work on the training pitch plus playing some friendlies to make sure we are in good shape when the real thing begins.”

The Great Big Finn Harps Photo Competition!
